Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Administrator to join our team, and provide essential support to our sales, purchasing, and accounting departments. The ideal candidate will possess strong clerical and communication skills, as well as proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks.
Responsibilities
- Entering purchase orders into QuickBooks.
- Documenting material being received and auditing against purchase orders.
- Filing returns for issues with received product.
- Assist with billing and invoicing processes using QuickBooks.
- Accounts receivable and accounts payable tasks - collections and payments.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring all records are up-to-date.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, organizing documents, and maintaining office supplies.
- Uphold professional phone etiquette while interacting with clients and vendors.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an office clerk or administrator is preferred.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks for managing financial records is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate data entry and record keeping.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
- A commitment to professionalism and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.
