Our client in the professional services is seeking an Azure Infra Architect on a contract basis.
Duration: 6 months to start
Location: Hybrid 3d/week Toronto
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement innovative infrastructure solutions using Microsoft Azure.
- Define the desired relationships and operating models across software, hardware, networks, personnel, and operations in a cloud-based environment.
- Provide subject matter expertise on cloud infrastructure and Azure best practices.
- Collaborate with multiple teams to provide guidance and solutions to complex problems.
- Lead architectural planning and decision-making processes.
- Mentor and support team members in cloud solution design and implementation.
- Stay informed on cloud trends and advancements to inform architectural strategy.
- Contribute to cross-team decisions and serve as a go-to expert for cloud infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- 5 + years experience as an Azure Infra Architect.
- Expert-level experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Strong experience in containerization and related technologies.
- Demonstrated experience in leading cloud transformation initiatives.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and team leadership skills.
- Ability to work across functional teams and influence decisions.
- Strong problem-solving and solution design skills.
