Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic, bilingual (French-English) IT Recruiter to join our growing team. You will be responsible for full-cycle recruitment of IT professionals for contract and permanent roles across North America.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full recruitment life cycle: sourcing, screening, interviewing, presenting, and closing candidates
- Build strong pipelines of qualified IT professionals across a variety of skill sets (e.g., developers, business analysts, project managers, cybersecurity, cloud engineers)
- Engage in proactive headhunting through LinkedIn Recruiter, internal database, job boards, and referrals
- Conduct thorough interviews in both English and French to assess technical and interpersonal fit
- Collaborate closely with Account Managers to understand client needs, timelines, and candidate requirements
- Maintain accurate records and candidate data within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Stay up to date with tech trends, recruitment tools, and the competitive landscape
- Support bilingual mandates with a focus on delivering high-quality, quick-turnaround candidates
Required Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in IT recruitment (agency or in-house)-
- Fully bilingual in French and English (spoken and written)
- Strong understanding of IT terminology, technologies, and job functions
- Proven track record in candidate sourcing and placement
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously
- Proficiency with ATS platforms and sourcing tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and Monster
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience recruiting for the Quebec and Eastern Canada market
- Previous experience in a fast-paced consulting or staffing agency environment
