Your new role
As a Functional Consultant GL/Costing COPA, you will be responsible for configuring and managing the SAP FI and CO modules to optimize financial accounting, cost tracking, and profitability analysis processes. Your tasks will include:
- Setting up the general ledger
- Defining cost centers, profit centers, and internal orders
- Configuring the allocation of costs and revenues
- Ensuring seamless integration between GL, CO, and other SAP modules like MM and SD for accurate financial reporting
- Configuring and managing profitability analysis to assess business performance, profitability by segment, and market conditions
- Creating financial reports
- Managing period-end closing processes
- Troubleshooting system issues
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience as an SAP General Ledger (GL), Controlling (CO), and Profitability Analysis (PA) consultant
- Strong knowledge of SAP FI and CO modules
- Experience with SAP HANA FIN FI
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience with financial reporting and period-end closing processes
