Requirements
Senior Narrative Designer (UK time zone preferred but not required)
fully remote 6-month Freelance contract
This position is offered on a fully remote basis, but the successful candidate must be able to work within the UK time zone hours. What we are looking for:
- 5+ years of experience as a narrative designer, writing and implementing dialogue to support the player journey
- Strong knowledge of Unreal Engine and experience with in-game dialogue systems
- Ability to write and implement in-game dialogue, barks, and supporting text
- Comfortable collaborating with writers and designers to shape story arcs and narrative beats
- Familiarity with maintaining and evolving narrative design documentation
- Strong understanding of tone, voice, and thematic consistency
- Able to connect narrative to gameplay through design alignment
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Proactive, team-oriented, and comfortable working across disciplines
