We are currently seeking a qualified Senior Hardware Design Engineer to join our team.
The Senior Hardware Design Engineer will be part of the hardware design and development team and work alongside various other engineering team members to provide support and assistance where required. You will be responsible for analyzing product requirements, preparing design materials, pricing, and preparing concept diagrams. - Analyze the product hardware requirements and create a detailed block diagram.
- Design and develop various complex safety critical aerospace electronics products using DO-254 and DO-160 guidelines.
- Create electronic circuits, assembly drawings, and Gerber files.
- Prepare concept diagrams of prototypes, test interfaces, and automated test equipment.
- Prepare design materials (block diagrams, design documents, pricing) for customer reviews and proposals.
- Work with Systems, Software, Hardware, and Component Engineering team members to analyze and solve issues.
- Support the product manufacturing team in solving hardware and system issues.
- Develop strong relationships with other engineering disciplines (Systems, Software, Hardware, and Mechanical designers) to maximize collaboration and synergy to meet project goals.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electronic design involving microcontrollers and switching power regulators.
- Experience with medium to complex schematic design is required.
- Experience in full hardware design cycle from requirements to product delivery of safety critical systems is required.
- Experience with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) in manufacturing is required.
- Experience with root cause analysis and debugging manufacturing issues is preferred.
- Working knowledge of embedded C is an asset, but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of PCB, CCA manufacturing process is an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
