About the Role
Nova Property Management Experts (Nova PME) is an emerging firm dedicated to elevating standards in condominium management through integrity, transparency, and operational excellence.
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Financial Administrator to oversee core financial functions for a designated portfolio of clients. Responsibilities include managing accounts receivable and payable, preparing monthly financial statements, monitoring cash flow, and supporting management with financial analysis---all within a web-based, integrated accounting environment.
This role offers the opportunity to work directly with the CFO to enhance and implement standardized financial procedures that support organizational efficiency and long-term scalability. It is ideal for a finance professional who values precision, process improvement, and collaboration in a growing company.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial statements for assigned condominium corporations
- Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable, ensuring completeness and accuracy
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow to support financial health and planning
- Assist management with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Maintain clear, professional communication with owners, board members, tenants, and vendors
- Contribute to the development and improvement of standardized financial procedures and workflows
Qualifications:
Required:
- Strong foundation in accounting principles and practices
- Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and accuracy
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication in English
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
- Well-rounded customer service skills in a professional environment
- Prior experience in condominium or property management accounting
Preferred Assets:
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Familiarity with web-based accounting platforms
- Multilingualism
- Experience working in a startup or growth-focused environment
- Experience using Microsoft 365 and cloud-based collaboration tools
