Reporting to the Manager, Integrated Marketing, the Marketing Consultant (Commercial \& Farm portfolio) is responsible for leading cross-functional marketing teams in the development of annual marketing plans and programs specific to Commercial and Farm. This role oversees end-to-end development of marketing support materials and programs, directs creative and copy development and works to ensure production and distribution functions are seamless for programs.
How you will create impact:
- Recommend, plan, write and manage the strategy and execution of marketing campaigns and materials which include but are not limited to external media campaigns, digital marketing (email, social media, digital and video content), print collateral, product sales support marketing materials, sales promotion, product launches, etc. Identify potential cross sell and prospecting opportunities to explore through marketing programs.
- Lead the creative development of sales enablement and external facing support materials including suggesting alternative solutions to communication, design, and production issues.
- Work closely with internal partners and external agencies to build/refresh essential assets including key messaging, creative concepts, and sales support marketing materials.
- Continually review marketing programs under his/her purview to ensure we are delivering the appropriate suite of programs to our business partners in the most effective distribution channels
- Analyze and report on the results of marketing campaigns/programs//sales support initiatives
- Manage budgets allocated to the execution of marketing/sales support initiatives.
- Participate in strategic planning activities as a member of planning teams and anticipate, recommend and execute communication activity to support team objectives.
- Establish, nurture, and enhance effective cross functional relationships across teams that include business stakeholders, Sales, Brand, Communications, Digital, Legal, Compliance, and more, ensuring that commitments are met and that we are mutually investing in success.

To join our team:
- Five (5) to seven (7) years' experience in a marketing communication function.
- Proven ability to execute multi-media marketing programs utilizing a variety of tactics and channels, including external media campaigns, paid search, social, video, web, email marketing, sales collateral, sales support materials, etc.
- University degree (marketing, digital marketing, product marketing, communications, business or related field).
- Previous experience in a integrated marketing role in the insurance sector would be considered an asset.
- Superior writing and communication skills.
- Ability to manage through impact and influence.
- Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills.
- Skills in project management, marketing and communications strategic planning, organizing and consensus building. Negotiating and budgeting skills required.
- Ability to work effectively with external agencies and suppliers to successfully manage delivery of work on-time and on-budget.
- Knowledge of the print production process and digital marketing.
- Strong analytical skills to effectively review campaign metrics against objectives with ability to recommend timely options for pivoting as required.
- Able to challenge the status quo through continually reviewing programs and tactics to ensure they meet the strategic needs of the business.
