We are currently looking for a motivated, organized individual to join our team as an Accounting Administrator at our Guelph, Ontario office.
The Accounting Administrator will work closely with administration, sales, and finance teams to streamline the company's office duties and accounts payable/receivable processes. Your role will liaise regularly with Operations, Finance, Engineering, and our Customer Service team members to ensure that processes and procedures involving payment are followed properly and in a timely manner.
Shift: Monday to Friday; Eight (8) hour workdays between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Responsibilities:
- Process remote scan for bank deposits.
- Process new customers credit applications.
- Accurately invoice customer orders.
- Contact customers regarding open receivables.
- Process supplier invoices, reconcile with goods receipts, and perform verifications of invoice accuracy.
- Process cheque and electronic payments to suppliers.
- Post transactions to payable and receivable ledger accounts.
- Process employee expense reports and reconcile employee advances.
- Reimburse employee expenses.
- Reconcile accounts receivable and payable subledgers to general ledger.
- Prepare accounts receivable and payable reports as required.
- Assist with month- and year-end closing as required.
- All other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary Diploma or Certificate in office administration or business administration.
- 1-3 years administrative/office experience with A/R.
- Must be proficient in spreadsheet and word processing applications, including Word and Excel.
- 2-5 years minimum experience working in Accounts Receivable, Bookkeeping, Customer Service, Accounts Payable, or Cash Applications.
- Experience working with SAP Business One and/or Spire ERP software is an asset.
