Director, Technology Platforms \& ModernizationAbout the Role Reporting to the VP of Cloud Modernization \& IT Services, the Director of Platforms \& Tech Modernization will lead strategic technology initiatives aimed at modernizing core infrastructure and employee-facing systems. In this position you will guide the enterprise through transformative technology change---bridging current systems with innovative, scalable solutions focused on improving both customer and employee experiences. Key ResponsibilitiesLead the strategy, planning, and execution of cloud, infrastructure, and workplace technology initiatives across the enterprise.
Drive modernization efforts across platforms including on-premise, cloud (GCP \& Azure), SaaS, and corporate technologies. Establish and manage a high-performing, user-centric technology platforms team. Oversee architecture, engineering, operations, and performance metrics for platforms and infrastructure.
Promote a self-service, KPI-driven technology service model for internal stakeholders. Integrate security, privacy, automation, and AI into core technology systems and end-user services. Champion end-to-end journey mapping for employee and customer experiences to guide solution design.
Lead enterprise-wide technology transformation programs, including M\&A integration and IT service management. Build and communicate IT investment roadmaps and modernization strategies that align with business goals. Evaluate emerging technologies and align innovation efforts with business strategy through agile experimentation.
Provide senior leadership with actionable insights through diagnostics, assessments, and financial models. Support business-IT alignment through capability mapping and strategic engagement across departments. What
We're Looking ForDegree in computer science, engineering, business, or related field---or equivalent experience. Expertise in cloud infrastructure (GCP, Azure), on-premise systems, SaaS platforms, and end-user technologies (especially Microsoft stack). Experience in systems architecture, SRE, DevOps, FinOps, and hybrid IT environments.
Strong understanding of enterprise technology frameworks (ITIL, Agile, Lean) and modern design patterns (microservices, APIs, CI/CD). Proven leadership in building high-impact teams across various sourcing models (internal, consultants, offshore). Adept at translating complex technology strategies to both technical and business audiences.
Skilled in developing business cases, managing budgets, and conducting risk assessments. Strategic thinker who can balance foundational IT stability with innovation and future-state design. Comfortable influencing executive stakeholders and navigating organizational complexity
