Position Summary
Responsibilities
- Regularly update and manage Sistering's website, providing insights and suggestions to improve user experience and increase conversion rates
- Design and execute digital marketing campaigns across platforms including social media, Mailchimp, and the Sistering website
- Capture and produce photo and video content to support ongoing campaigns and initiatives
- Create compelling digital and print content such as brochures, infographics, flyers, social media graphics, and blog posts
Qualifications Other Duties as Assigned
- Interest or academic background in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, Nonprofit Management, or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn)
- Familiarity with website management tools (WordPress), email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp), and basic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
- Experience with photography and video creation/editing is an asset
- Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects at once
- Demonstrated commitment to equity, inclusion, and social justice
Eligibility
- Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the position
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person who has been granted refugee status in Canada
- Have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN)
- Be legally entitled to work in Canada
