Overview:
Job Responsibilities: Donation Processing
- Manage and update monthly donor records, ensuring all transactions and acknowledgments are completed accurately.
- Execute scheduled donor credit card and bank account transfers.
- Follow up on declined transactions and expired payment methods.
- Maintain accurate records of donor interactions and updates in the database.
- Import and verify new pledges and donations.
Quality Control
- Reconcile transactions in the database (Raiser's Edge) to processing centres and prepare reconciliation reports for Finance.
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure data standards are met and acknowledgments are timely.
Customer Service
- Respond to donor inquiries and requests.
- Perform both inbound and outbound calling to maintain donor relationships.
- Call lapsed monthly donors to reactivate their accounts.
General Donation Processing and Customer Service:
- Fill in for absences to ensure coverage for the broader Donor Care team
- Perform data entry of general single donations and verify entries balance to batch totals.
- Sort, open, batch, and tally donation mail, ensuring compliance with bank and CRA requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum college diploma.
- 5 years of customer service and data processing experience.
- Strong experience with Microsoft 365, particularly Word Mail Merges, Excel, and Outlook.
- Proficiency in French is an asset.
- Outbound telemarketing experience is helpful.
- Proficiency with Raiser's Edge is an asset.
