What you will achieve in this role:Act as a strategic HR advisor to senior leadership, driving initiatives in talent planning, employee engagement, and performance management. Lead the development and execution of people strategies aligned with business priorities. Support compliance and policy development initiatives across HR functions.
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to influence key organizational outcomes.Guide and manage a small team of HR professionals and contribute to organizational development efforts. Key Responsibilities:Talent Planning \& Strategy Lead annual HR processes, including compensation reviews, performance evaluations, and succession planning. Interpret internal data trends to provide actionable insights to leadership teams.
Collaborate with legal, compliance, risk, and finance partners on workforce-related initiatives. Employee Engagement \& Development Recommend and execute strategies to improve engagement, reduce attrition, and advance DEI goals. Provide coaching and support to business leaders in employee relations and organizational planning.
Compliance \& Policy Management Monitor updates to Canadian employment legislation and regulatory compliance. Support the drafting, revision, and implementation of corporate HR policies and procedures. HR Operations \& Communication Ensure timely and professional handling of HR queries and concerns.
Partner with the broader HR team to optimize internal processes and service delivery. Lead or contribute to internal HR projects related to operational efficiency. What you must bring to this role:Must have 10 years of experience in an HR Business Partner role within a Bank.
Must have a Bachelor's degree. Must have CHRP designation. Sound knowledge of Canadian employment law, HR compliance, and financial services regulations.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills. Experience leading small teams and delivering cross-functional initiatives.
