What You Will Be Working On
- Develop installation work packages (FIWP).
- Acts as a liaison between project controls and workforce supervision.
- Responsible to ensure all necessary resources are available prior to releasing a FIWP and monitoring control of the FIWP.
- Determining and coordinating resource requirements and liaising with resource coordinators.
- Establish a regular cadence and process for refreshing and refining workforce plans, roll-up \& action plans with senior management.
- Implement the Construction Execution Plan.
- Ensure intended safety requirements are properly conveyed to workforce supervision.
- Preparing required project IWP, which includes determining required activities, resources, special conditions, quality control, risk planning, interdependencies.
What We Are Looking For
- Relevant combination of education and experience
- 5 years' experience working on construction sites an asset
- Completed Construction Safety Training Systems
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, data visualization and abilities to create and work in complex financial models
- Have a basic understanding of project scheduling and estimating techniques
- Excellent communication skills, verbal \& written
- Have knowledge of health, safety and environmental programs
- Know general construction and materials systems and procedures
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, troubleshooting, problem-solving skills and a high degree of accuracy and impeccable attention to detail
- Highly developed interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency and strong commitment to achieving goals; ability to work in challenging, fast paced environment
- Ability to work collaboratively with a positive 'can do' attitude
- Superior written and verbal communication skills including the ability to converse with technical professionals as well as operations end users
