Qualifications

Completion of a college level Pharmacy Technician Program required (accredited college level Pharmacy Technician Program preferred)
Registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacists as a Pharmacy Technician (RPhT)
Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, detail oriented, communication, teamwork, problem-solving and organizational skills
Strong computer skills
Proven ability to follow specific instructions with a high degree of accuracy
Demonstrated initiative and judgment appropriate for the role. Self-directed in seeking out pharmacy issues within the healthcare team
Demonstrated commitment to professional development
Proven ability to perform the physical requirements of the position which may include standing for extended periods of time, moderate lifting and pushing carts
