As Quality Assurance Agent, reporting to Wuxly's Operations Lead, you will act as Wuxly's in-house "eye on quality" for various productions at multiple cut-and-sew manufacturing locations in the General Toronto Area. The Quality Assurance Agent will execute proactive processes that prevent issues with quality, while meeting the timelines of Wuxly's overall production schedule. The Quality Assurance Agent will work in accordance with established processes and tools (The Wuxly Way SOP's, and Operationally within Wuxly's ERP system, Odoo).
*This is a full-time, contract position, expiring in December of 2025. This position will is based both from Wuxly's office + warehouse in Mississauga, as well as at various cut-and-sew manufacturing locations in the General Toronto Area.
What you will get up to:
- Act as a brand ambassador for Wuxly in all interactions and communications
- Ensure compliance with all Wuxly Way processes
- Ensure Wuxly's ERP system (Odoo) is being utilized with all aspects of this role
- Ensure ISO 9001 and 14001 compliance in all quality assurance responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods to ensure compliance with Wuxly's quality standards
- Travel to, and primarily work from various cut-and-sew manufacturers who are producing various finished goods for Wuxly
- Perform routine testing of garment construction strength, integrity, and accuracy
- Produce and submit daily quality reports to Wuxly leadership, providing updates and identifying potential risks and issues for wider awareness
- Establish rapport and positive working relationships with production supervisors at the various manufacturing locations
- Additional responsibilities as the role and the candidate evolve
Skills And Qualifications We're Looking For:
- College diploma or Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3 or more years in a quality assurance, quality control, preferable within a textile manufacturing environment
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
