Project Manager -- Commercial Construction

As we expand our presence in British Columbia, we're seeking a skilled Special Projects Project Manager to join their team.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute all phases of construction projects from pre-construction through to close-out
- Prepare and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and progress reports
- Lead tendering and procurement activities, including evaluating and awarding subcontractor contracts
- Provide leadership to site supervisors, project coordinators, and subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and consultants, managing expectations and communication
- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and resolve issues promptly
- Participate in post-project reviews and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects in a general contracting environment
- Proven track record delivering projects on time and within budget
- Strong understanding of construction contracts (CCDC), building codes, and safety regulations
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Bluebeam)
- PMP or Gold Seal Certification is considered an asset
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites across Lower Mainland, BC.
