Job Description: Responsibilities:

Prepare and issue monthly and quarterly financial statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Record accruals and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial data.
Finalize year-end closing processes, including posting required adjustments.
Develop detailed reporting packages that include balance sheets, income statements, and investment summaries.
Reconcile bank accounts monthly to ensure all transactions are properly accounted for.
Maintain accurate accounts payable and receivable ledgers to support financial operations.
Verify the accuracy of financial data and perform routine account reconciliations.
Collaborate with property managers and other departments to address financial inquiries and discrepancies.
Provide timely financial summaries and reports for management reviews and decision-making.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and best practices in all financial tasks.

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in property accounting or a similar role.
Proficiency in account reconciliation, including handling accounts payable and receivable.
Strong knowledge of financial tools such as QuickBooks, Yardi Voyager, and Microsoft Excel.
Experience with bank reconciliations and month-end closing procedures.
Familiarity with bookkeeping and payroll processes.
Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to prepare comprehensive financial reports and statements.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
