LeverageTek is actively seeking a Lead SAP Business Analyst for an upcoming 9-month contract with its Ottawa-based customer.
Key Tasks
- Lead functional workstreams through all migration phases
- Conduct detailed gap analysis between ECC 6.0 and S/4HANA processes
- Define business requirements for configuration and development
- Oversee data mapping and validation for master/transactional data
- Redesign business processes to leverage S/4HANA simplifications
- Identify and eliminate redundant customizations through standard SAP best practices
- Implement Fiori-based UX improvements for key business roles
- Manage a team of 3--5 business analysts across functional areas
- Develop and enforce analysis methodologies and documentation standards
- Mentor junior analysts on S/4HANA functionality
- Present recommendations to steering committees and business leadership
- Coordinate with SAP architects and developers on solution design
- Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) and training sessions
Key Qualifications
- 5+ years of SAP functional experience, with at least 2 full-cycle ECC to S/4HANA migrations
- Strong expertise in SAP modules and integration points
- Strong leadership skills with team management experience
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field
- Business Analyst experience supporting migration from SAP ECC 6.0 to SAP S/4HANA
- Experience bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring accurate translation of requirements
- Experience analyzing processes, identifying gaps, and recommending best practices to optimize the new system
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
