Position Overview As the Sales Coordinator , you will play a pivotal role in expanding Tripshepherd's global network of partners. You'll manage and grow relationships with OTAs (Online Travel Agencies), resellers, major attractions, and local experience providers---both maintaining existing partnerships and forging new ones.
You'll also represent Tripshepherd at various trade shows and travel industry events, ensuring our offerings are well-positioned for success. This role is ideal for someone who excels in relationship-building, has strong negotiation skills, and is excited about shaping the future of travel experiences. Key Responsibilities
- Partnership Management Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing OTAs, resellers, attractions, and local experience providers. Serve as the primary point of contact for partners, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction. 2. Business Development Identify and pursue new opportunities to onboard additional travel partners, attractions, and local experience creators.
Present Tripshepherd's value proposition in a clear, compelling way to drive partnership agreements. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and collaboration terms, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes. 3. Contract Finalization \& Onboarding Oversee the end-to-end process of contract negotiations, ensuring timely completion and compliance with company standards.
Coordinate with internal teams (Marketing, Product, Operations) to seamlessly onboard new partners and integrate their offerings into our platform. 4. Trade Shows \& Networking Represent Tripshepherd at industry events, trade missions, and conferences (e.g., Rendez-vous Canada).
Manage logistics for these events, including booth setup, promotional materials, and on-site coordination. Actively network to build brand awareness and identify potential collaboration opportunities. 5. Performance \& Reporting Track and report on key metrics such as number of new partnerships and revenue generated through these partnerships.
Provide regular updates to the Head of Marketing on progress, challenges, and opportunities for growth. 6. Collaboration \& Communication Work closely with the Marketing team to ensure consistent brand messaging and effective partner promotion strategies. Communicate partner needs and market insights to internal stakeholders to help shape product offerings and marketing campaigns.
Qualifications \& Skills Education \& Experience : Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field preferred. Experience in travel, tourism, hospitality, or a relationship-driven sales role is a plus. Sales \& Negotiation : Proven track record of closing deals, building relationships, or managing partnerships.
Industry Knowledge : Familiarity with OTAs, resellers, or local attraction partnerships is beneficial (though not strictly required). Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly and negotiate effectively. Organizational Skills : Strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
Tech-Savvy : Comfortable using CRM tools, Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, and willing to learn new software platforms as needed. Travel Willingness : Ability to travel frequently to attend trade shows and partner visits (domestically and potentially internationally). What
