Job Description
New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a DevOps Software Developer (Full Stack with Power Platform/Dynamics 365) who is responsible for designing and developing robust, scalable, and maintainable software solutions using modern technologies including the Power Platform/Dynamics 365, C#/.NET, and web frameworks such as Angular or Blazor. In this role, you will collaborate with architects, analysts, and business partners to translate requirements into high-quality code, implement end-to-end DevOps pipelines in Azure, and continuously improve both our solutions and our team culture.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications using .NET, C#, SQL, and web/mobile frameworks (Angular, React, Flutter or Blazor)
- Architect and implement custom Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate) integrated with Dynamics 365
- Configure and develop Dynamics 365 plug-ins, client-side web resources, and related APIs
- Establish, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines in Azure (design → develop → integrate → build → test → release)
- Configure Azure resources (Service Bus, Storage, Functions) to support solution architectures
- Write unit/integration tests (XUnit, NUnit) and apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices
- Work within Agile DevOps teams using SAFe principles in an enterprise-scale environment
- Mentor and coach junior developers; share best practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a STEM discipline
- 3+ years of IT experience with .NET/C# development, full-stack frameworks (Angular, React, Flutter or Blazor), SQL, Git, unit testing (XUnit/NUnit) and TDD
- 2+ years configuring and developing on Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) and Dynamics 365 (including plug-ins and web resources)
- Proficiency in JavaScript, jQuery, HTML and CSS
- Experience applying Agile DevOps and SAFe at enterprise scale
- End-to-end Azure CI/CD pipeline implementation (Service Bus, Storage, Functions)
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Senior candidates: proven technical leadership and mentorship
- Preferred: local and prior experience with WorkSafeBC systems

The hourly rate range for this position is $70 -- $110, with the final rate based on consultant experience and fit for the role.
