Hamilton Machining \& Fabricating, a successful jobber shop for over 50 years, has an opening for an experienced manual machinist. The successful applicant must be self-motivated with a positive attitude, able to work with minimal supervision.
Long term position in a great manual shop.
Must be able to communicate effectively in English.

Job Requirements:
- Operate lathes, drilling and milling machines (CNC experience not required)
- Interpret shop drawings and customer blueprints
- Work to close machining tolerances and verify dimensions
- Fit and assemble machined parts and assemblies
- Operate jib and overhead cranes
Preference will be given to applicants with additional mechanical skills (equipment disassembly and reassembly, pumps, gear boxes, etc.).
Compensation and Benefits:
Pay: CA$43.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Work hours: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday
