About the Role
Crete Capital is seeking a high-performing Associate / Credit Analyst to join its team in Downtown Vancouver. The role and compensation structure will be tailored to the selected candidate's qualifications and experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Debt underwriting and credit analysis for private companies
- Support structuring, negotiation, and closing of commercial and corporate financing transactions
- Contribute to client presentations, financial models, and deal execution strategy
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver best-in-class advisory services
Candidate Profile
We're looking for a commercial finance professional with a minimum of 2 years' experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Commercial banking/lending
- Corporate finance
- Leveraged finance
Required Skills \& Qualifications
- Proven success in a commercial financial institution
- Deep understanding of corporate/commercial financing, from structuring to closing
- Strong credit analysis and underwriting capabilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong sense of urgency, discipline, and ability to work independently
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field is preferred
