Insight Global is looking for an Accounting/Office Manager to join our client in the marine transport industry on a full-time, permanent basis in Vancouver, BC. This will be a fully on-site role, Monday-to-Friday and will consist of overseeing all office operations/logistics, while managing the day-to-day accounting of the business. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to, Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable, Accounts Transaction Processing, Bank Reconciliations, overall Accounting Management and Month-End Tax Reporting/Filing. From a technology and software perspective, you will be expected to work daily in a Microsoft Office 365 environment with strong Excel experience in addition to a minimum of 5-years' experience working hands on with the Sage 50 accounting software system. Lastly, the successful candidate should have excellent documentation and organizational skills and be able to communicate clearly with internal employees and external stakeholders.
Must Haves
- A minimum of 7-years' experience in full-cycle Accounting related roles overseeing the following:
- Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable
- Accounts Transaction Processing
- Bank Reconciliations
- Accounting Management
- Month-End Tax Reporting and Filing
- 5+ years' experience working within Sage 50
- Excellent technical ability within Excel and other Microsoft Office 365 applications
Plusses
- Experience working in the transportation industry
