Role Description:
We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Registered Kinesiologist \& Personal Trainer to join our growing team. In this full-time, on-site role, you will be responsible for designing and delivering customized training and rehabilitation programs, conducting functional movement assessments, and guiding clients through safe, effective exercise techniques. You'll work closely with a diverse clientele to support their health, performance, and wellness goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement individualized fitness and rehabilitation programs based on client needs, goals, and assessments.
- Instruct clients on proper form, technique, and injury prevention strategies.
- Track progress and adapt programs accordingly to ensure continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the UFIT team to support social media and community events.
- Contribute to a positive and motivating training environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology or related field.
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario (R.Kin designation).
- Professional certification in personal training (ex. CPTN, CSEP, NSCA, or equivalent).
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Proven experience in personal training, athletic coaching, or rehabilitation settings.
- Strong foundation in human movement science, injury prevention, and functional training.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent time management and organization skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work minimum 35-40 hours per week.
- Ability to demonstrate proper form and technique for exercise movements.
- Comfortable using social media platforms to share training tips, client highlights, and educational content, and to support community engagement and brand visibility.
- Passionate about helping others improve their health and performance.
Bonus Qualifications (not required, but nice to have):
- Experience working with athletes, youth, or postpartum women.
