As a CyberSecurity Consultant Intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced consultants on a variety of projects, gaining hands-on experience in assessing, designing, and implementing security solutions for our clients. Responsibilities:
- Assist senior consultants in conducting security assessments and penetration testing.
- Contribute to the development of security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Support the implementation and configuration of security tools and technologies.
- Conduct research on emerging cyber threats and security trends.
- Analyze security vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for clients.
- Participate in client meetings and contribute to discussions.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest cyber security news and best practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the consulting team.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of fundamental security concepts, such as network security, cryptography, and operating system security.
- Familiarity with common cyber security tools and technologies is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- A strong interest in pursuing a career in cyber security.
Bonus Points For:
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Security , Network ).
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Participation in capture the flag (CTF) events or other security-related competitions.
- Knowledge of specific industry regulations and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, PIPEDA).
