What are we looking for?

Minimum 2 years work experience in a supervisory role
Must be able to work weekends and/or nights shifts
Hands-on experience with cleaning and maintenance tasks for large, diverse facility
Demonstrated organizational, inter-personal and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team
Ability to use good judgement and decision making skills
Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
Practical "can do" attitude and ability to learn new tasks
Working knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment and products.
Knowledge of Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) for safe handling of chemical solutions used for cleaning. Knowledge of safe material handling practices
Comfortable working at heights
Experience in operating elevated work platform and other lifting equipment
Basic knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act including rights and responsibilities of workers and supervisors
