Position type: FULL-TIME Location: Remote/ Hybrid (The preferred location is in the Greater Toronto Area but is negotiable within Canada)Only submissions that meet the application requirements will be considered.
Reporting directly to the Director, Fund Development and MARCOM, the Development and Communications Coordinator will assist with the development, execution, coordination and tracking of fund development and communication assets including partner reports and proposals, deliverables, programming, event coordination, partner stewardship, and reporting. This position is responsible for day-to-day activities to support and maintain sustainable revenue in partnership with funders including corporate partners, and maintains close working relationships with the Fund Development, MARCOM and Community Engagement team. In addition, the role acts as a central point of contact for contracted vendors providing marketing, communications, or public relations services to the organization.
The Development and Communications Coordinator will also manage all deliverables associated with confirmed funding through corporate partnerships and foundation/grants in addition to supporting the Toronto Gaming portfolio. They will coordinate activities and help maintain the relationship database to ensure data integrity. A key function of this role is to effectively manage timelines and completions of funding deliverables to contribute and strengthen the organization's overall fundraising capacity and focus on the growth of the individual giving donor base and revenue working with internal team members, external consultants and service providers.

Responsibilities/Duties Include:- Manage partner funding deliverables including coordination, management and reporting- Support ongoing budgeting and financial reporting- Provide support to key fund development campaigns including coordinating stewardship activities and running campaign result reports- Prepare donor correspondence, communications and partner reports to support - Manage Toronto Gaming requirements and deliverables in addition to coordination of Gaming volunteers together with Community Engagement Manager. - When needed, fill in for Toronto Gaming volunteer shifts (Scarborough) to meet compliance regulations- File monthly Toronto Gaming municipal reports and submit funding deliverables- Maintain database recording and tracking funding partners and related information.

Collaborate with Community Engagement staff to gather success stories, testimonials and quantitative data that showcase the tangible outcomes of donors' support. - Assist in the creation of fund development reports and proposals - Responsible for execution of sponsorship proposals and contracts, and the coordination of activation activities. - Provide support to the other team members- Additional office duties and projects as required
Required Skills:- Post-secondary education with a minimum of 2 years' experience with or equivalent combination of education and experience. - High proficiency and excellent working knowledge of CRM Database management- Excellent relationship-building skills, with a proven track record of building and advancing relationships in a fundraising or sales environment. - Proven success in executing events that meet goals.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. - Experience with fundraising databases, preferably Raiser's Edge. - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
