Job Description: Responsibilities:

Forecasting and Planning

Oversee the annual and quarterly financial forecasting and budgeting process, working with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with business objectives

Monitor and assess financial performance against forecasts and budgets, providing actionable insights to improve outcomes

Optimize forecasting and planning approaches, tools and processes to improve effectiveness and sure consistency across IGM
-
Consolidation of plans, forecasts and reporting across IGM
-
Communication to key IGM enterprise stakeholders at the IGM Operating Committee
-
Expense management
-
Drive overall expense management process, approach and insights across IGM
-
Determine any actions required to manage expenses effectively across the organization

Identify risks to annual expense plan and levers to close any gaps
-
Strategy support
-
Work collaboratively with senior leaders to shape IGM strategy agenda and develop strategies for key priority strategic issues

Support key IGM strategy deliverables including Board Strategy offsites

Execute key strategic projects as required

Team leadership

Lead and mentor a high-performing team of financial analysts and managers, ensuring continuous professional development and a collaborative team culture.

Foster relationships with key internal and external stakeholders

Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, and financial stewardship within IGM.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field
- MBA, CFA and/or accounting designation preferred
- 10 years of experience in financial planning, forecasting, and management reporting
- Financial Institution and/or Asset/Wealth management experience
- Strong knowledge of wealth and asset management products, markets, and business models
- Proven track record in developing and implementing financial strategies that drive growth and profitability.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, scenario analysis, and decision support.
- Experience managing and/or governing Strategic Initiative portfolios.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data and insights to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on building and developing high-performing teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
