With over 50 years of expertise and a thriving Aerospace Division serving major OEMs, we are now expanding into the nuclear sector ---and we're seeking a Business Unit Director to lead this transformative initiative.
As the Business Unit Director -- Nuclear Division, you will spearhead the setup, staffing, and operational leadership of our new facility in Toronto. From capital project execution to production ramp-up and cross-functional leadership, you will build a business unit with national significance---delivering high-performance nuclear components with the same excellence we bring to aerospace.
This role offers a rare opportunity to create and scale a business unit inside a growing company with deep technical roots and strong customer relationships.
What You Will Do:
- Oversee plant setup, equipment installation, and trial production in 2025
- Recruit and train a high-performing team
- Launch full production of nuclear assemblies
- Lead Quality, Operations, and Engineering with a focus on performance and safety
- Manage complex external relationships (vendors, suppliers, regulators)
What You Bring:
- 10+ years of senior manufacturing leadership, ideally in precision machining or mechanical components
- Proven experience in new site launches, plant integration, or transformation
- Engineering degree required; MBA and PMP/CPIM certifications preferred
- Strategic yet hands-on leader with strong planning, critical thinking, and team-building skills
