- Site: Markham Stouffville Hospital
- Agreement: Overtime is under Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 hours
- Hours: Continental Rotation (0700-1900/1900-0700)
- Payrate: $18.25/hour

Job Description:
Working on assigned shifts, you will provide security patrols, respond to incidents, write reports, investigate routine incidents, and respond to emergencies efficiently. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work under stress or assist with medical emergencies are essential. Physical fitness to stand and walk for long periods is required.
This position includes responsibilities such as:
- Patrol assigned areas on foot to ensure security
- Report irregularities and complete investigations and incident reports
- Use two-way radios and computer applications for communication
- Maintain relationships with stakeholders and enforce rules when necessary
- Provide support and customer service, including emergency response and assistance
- Perform other duties as assigned
Prerequisites:
- Valid Ontario Security License
- Valid First Aid \& CPR - Level C
- Fluent in English (oral and written)
- Experience in security, by-law, or parking enforcement is an asset
- Certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB) are required or can be obtained through Paladin's training prior to onboarding. The training is unpaid but covered by Paladin with a 6-month commitment.

Certification Requirements: Minimum 1 year security experience, COVID-19 double vaccinated, Standard First Aid \& CPR Level C, Valid Ontario Security License.
