Key activities
- Support shipping operations: schedule, track, and manage BOLs and exports.
- Enter and verify orders in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Manage shipping, receiving, and inventory accuracy.
- Coordinate fleet and equipment schedules.
- Monitor customer orders to prevent expired goods.
- Issue return merchandise authorizations (RMA) as needed.
- Conduct inventory counts and rotations.
- Maintain accurate warehouse records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with maintenance, quality, and safety standards.
- Assist with inbound/outbound shipments and dispatch coordination with drivers.
- Provide customer service to visitors, contractors, and drivers.
- Resolve shipping/receiving issues and discrepancies.
- Collaborate with departments to meet shipping requirements and delivery deadlines.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Required training and experience
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in shipping and receiving, preferably in manufacturing.
- Thorough knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures.
- Experience in the food manufacturing industry (asset).
- Knowledge of occupational health, safety, and quality standards (asset).
