About The Role Finding better ways™ to provide the materials the world needs. Mine Planning Engineer
- Mine schedules and scenarios (weekly, three months rolling, and quarterly).
- Production and operational performance reporting and reconciliation
- Mine design (waste dump updates, pit updates, stockpiles, haul roads, and other design work as required)
- Electrical infrastructure and dewatering planning
- Other mine engineering activities as required
What You'll Bring
- A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
- Proficient with 3D mine design and scheduling software, preferably Vulcan or Deswik
- Site based open pit mining experience, preferably in a northern climate
- Preferable to have a Professional Engineering designation
- Solution-oriented and autonomous
- Strong communication skills, capable of interacting with both technical and operational teams
