JOB PURPOSE
Reporting to the Manager, Product Marketing theProduct Marketing Specialistsupports the delivery of product marketing priorities to ensure a seamless introduction of new Mevotech products and brands to market. The Specialist will work with Product Management, Operations and Customer Marketing teams to support the launch of products across all Mevotech brands. They will oversee the consistent use of product branding, packaging, and production of technical marketing materials to support sales.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Product and Event Strategy Support
- Assist in sourcing products in developing marketing strategies and tactics that effectively position Mevotech brands and products.
- Support sales by creating product launch support materials, promotional materials, supporting product training, supporting development and maintenance of sales support tools.
Sales Enablement
- Collaborate Manager and cross-functional teams to oversee development of sales tools, training, and resources that enhance product understanding and support sales efforts.
- Provide product information and support to improve sales effectiveness, in line with brand messaging.
Go-to-Market (GTM) Support
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the development and execution of GTM plans.
- Coordinate with customer marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure successful production of product launch materials and updates.
Product Marketing Collateral and Content Creation
- Assist in the creation of product documentation, sales materials, and content for campaigns, social media, and promotional activities.
- Help manage marketing asset lifecycle to ensure they effectively showcase Mevotech products.
- Support online product content experience and creating customer-facing product content for all eCommerce SKUs: including images, product names, product descriptions, and product attributes.
Brand Packaging Design
- Support and develop product packaging, artwork, POP, etc. to support company brand and marketing strategies.
- Liaise with production vendors and partners in the package design and production process.
- Attend press approvals and facilitate approval of package design and production.
Prior Experience
- Prior experience/familiarity with automotive/aftermarket automotive standards and nomenclature. Emphasis on steering, suspension, brakes.
- Solid understanding in package design and print production
- Knowledge of in-store marketing execution and digital print process is ideal
- Knowledge of inventory management systems, kitting/distribution processes \& creative workflows
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Post secondary education in Marketing or a related Business Field or equivalent working experience
- Must be able to communicate with people at all levels including cross-functionally
- Strong analytical and research skills to gather and interpret technical information
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
- Knowledge of automotive related industry is highly desirable.
- Bachelor's degree: 3 years of relevant experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to details.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute business plans and initiatives that will achieve brand performance and operational targets.
