Creative Marketing SpecialistToronto, ON (Hybrid) About the Role A growing company in the medical technology industry is seeking an enthusiastic and creative marketing professional with a keen attention to detail to join its expanding marketing team. Reporting to the Director of Product Management, the Creative Marketing Specialist will simplify complex medical concepts into clear, engaging marketing materials to promote innovative technology within the wound care market. This role will focus on creating compelling content for print, video, websites, social media, and other marketing channels.
Responsibilities
- Develop concise, market-driven, and captivating written and visual content for printed materials, social media, websites, and videos
- Collaborate with Medical Communications to create informative infographics that distill complex medical concepts
- Create video storyboards, organize shoots, and edit videos for product training, webinars, social media, and promotional campaigns
- Design website layouts for new products and work with a developer to implement them
- Partner with the Marketing team to craft approachable and compelling product messaging
- Format and design impactful slide decks to support the sales team
- Leverage strong editing skills to ensure all marketing materials are error-free and consistent with brand messaging
- Support the development and execution of customer email campaigns
- Optimize content for SEO to boost visibility and drive website traffic
- Assist the graphic designer with design concepts and implementation as needed
- Manage a content generation calendar to track and report progress Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, medical communications, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in content creation and design
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional editing and proofreading abilities
- A proactive self-starter who works well independently and collaborates effectively with a team
- Proficiency with graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite
- Familiarity with SEO best practices (an asset)
