Who You'll Work With
As a team member of the Arista Sales team, you are the face of Arista to our customers; their internal champion for the problems they need to solve. You will align Arista's technical resources to achieve your customer's business outcomes. You will partner with skilled Customer Engineers, Professional Services, and Executive teams to help customers understand how to execute solutions. Our sales culture emphasizes team success, collaboration, and support. This role typically reports to a Regional Sales Manager or Area VP of Sales.
What You'll Do
We seek a proven Territory Account Manager to join our Canadian Sales organization. You will act as a trusted advisor, implementing sales strategies to exceed targets within targeted commercial accounts, focusing on Higher Ed, Manufacturing, Mining, Healthcare, and Retail verticals.
Arista appeals to forward-thinking organizations that value quality and innovation. Technical acumen and a track record of selling data center solutions are highly desirable.
Job Responsibilities:
- Exceed sales objectives and expand the Arista brand within Global 2000 accounts, developing new logo accounts.
- Utilize a consultative selling approach with key stakeholders to address hybrid cloud computing and legacy IT system needs across Arista's product portfolio, including Open Networking platforms, Data Centers, Campus, Wi-Fi, AI networking solutions, Network Monitoring Fabric, NDR, and Endpoint Security solutions.
- Meet with influencers, decision-makers, and C-level executives to present Arista's value proposition.
- Work with Arista systems engineers to design solutions that reduce total cost of ownership.
- Collaborate with technology partners to identify prospects and demonstrate solutions.
- Establish and manage key channel relationships in your territory.
- Develop strategic and tactical account plans based on business reviews.
- Conduct demand generation activities such as happy hours, lunch-n-learns, and technology forums.
- Collaborate with peers on marketing plans and best practices.
- Stay updated on partner solutions, competing solutions, and strategies.
Qualifications
You possess a hunter mentality with a proven track record in technology sales, cultivating relationships with existing customers and penetrating new accounts. You are an influencer and trusted advisor, delivering business value to end users and stakeholders.

- BS/BA degree or equivalent and 5+ years of technology sales experience.
- Proven success in direct sales within target accounts and exceeding sales targets.
- Relevant background in data center or networking (LAN/WAN, SDN) from a technology partner, competitor, channel partner, or end user.
- Strong network and relationships within the territory.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship-building ability at all levels.
- Previous selling experience and technical knowledge in Networking, SDN, NFV, Switching, Data Center, Edge Computing, Network Virtualization, Hyper-converged infrastructure, or Cloud computing.
