Position: Territory Account Manager
Your primary goal is to identify and pursue opportunities for new and expanded customer growth within the Commercial segment in British Columbia. This is a hunter role, requiring proactive prospecting to discover new customers. You should be a self-starter, capable of targeting potential clients and using various methods to connect and sell Rogers solutions. Success depends on your ability to identify prospects and build strong relationships with C-level executives. Solutions include Wireless, Internet Connectivity, IoT, Data Centre, Unified Communications, and Cloud Solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Active prospecting into new and existing clients to promote and sell Rogers solutions, increasing market penetration.
- Research prospective customers to identify contacts and decision-making roles.
- Use social media and creative engagement methods to align account strategies.
- Represent Rogers to clients, providing excellent customer service to maximize retention and growth.
- Understand clients' business issues and relate them to sales opportunities.
- Develop tailored solutions for clients' evolving needs with a Customer First approach.
- Build relationships with partners and experts to develop profitable solutions.
- Collaborate with team members to leverage skills within your territory.
- Establish trust and loyalty with key decision-makers.
- Participate actively in sales meetings and complete administrative duties like updating CRM.
Qualifications:
- University degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years in business sales, preferably in Communications, Information, or Technology sectors.
- Technical knowledge in Infrastructure services, Telephony, Network, and Data Centre technologies is an asset.
- Consistent top-tier performance (e.g., President's Club).
- Proven ability to close profitable business and engage with Director or C-Level contacts.
- Results-oriented with strong leadership skills.
- Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and active listening skills.
- Passion for sales and service excellence.
