Job Title: Node.js Developer
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)
We are seeking an experienced Node.js Developer with 5--7 years of expertise to join our engineering team.
The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable, cloud-native applications using Node.js and AWS services. Responsibilities include building serverless architectures with AWS Lambda, developing RESTful APIs, and optimizing cloud infrastructure.
You should have strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway), cloud automation (Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, Docker), and both NoSQL and SQL databases.
The role involves collaborating with architects and product managers, mentoring junior developers, implementing best security practices, and optimizing system performance and cost-efficiency.
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset are essential.
