Position Summary:
UHN Corporate Billing \& Accounts Receivable \& Registration (CBARR) is a high-volume, fast-paced department responsible for revenue through billing and collection. The Financial Services Analyst plays a key role in supporting the plays a key role in supporting the management of patient and/or client billing and collection contributing to revenue and cash flow maximization.
Duties:
- Liaise with insurers, patients, support workers, and the clinical team as needed
- Coordinate with UHN's internal departments and external clients when applicable
- Efficiently utilize existing billing systems, including Epic and HRCM
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure timely billing of charges
- Ensure accurate and timely billing and collection processes
- Maintain a healthy aging portfolio by persistently following up on overdue accounts
- Assist with interim and year-end audit requests
- Provide analysis and commentary on financial reports for relevant audiences, including necessary follow-ups and improvements
- Develop or revise Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents as required
