DESCRIPTION:
- Manage a series of small real estate projects, focusing on construction improvements and technology upgrades
- Requires resource to be on-site to ensure work is performed to the company's requirements
- 5 days a week onsite, doesn't have to be full days but will need to do site checks when there is active construction for a period of time
- Needs to be a strong communicator -- ability to manage and coordinate multiple groups to execute, while managing business stakeholder expectations and clearly communicating progress / risks \& issues mitigations as they arise
- Self-starter with strong Project Management skills (reporting, financials, risk management, vendor management, negotiation skills etc)
- PMP -- an asset
Project Oversight and Handover
- Oversee the project until completion and ensure the space is handed over smoothly
Client Meetings and Administrative Tasks
- Manage client meetings and administrative tasks related to the construction project
- Track and manage integrated project schedule
- Ensure that the other tenant's vendor follows the project schedule and does not disrupt the ongoing AV upgrade work and manage/minimize disruptions to meetings and escalate any impacts to the appropriate internal team for timely resolution
Project Timeliness and Budget
- Ensure the project is completed on time and within budget.
Coordination and Liaison
Coordinate and liaise with the following key stakeholders:
- Sponsor, Real Estate Office (REO) and SMEs
- REO shared services team
- Architect \& design vendors
- Construction project manager
- IT project manager
