Base pay range
CA$115,000.00/yr - CA$135,000.00/yr
Position Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Renewable Energy Manager for managing the development of renewable energy projects, particularly in Wind Energy, in collaboration with partners and consultants. The successful candidate will play a key role in advancing wind project development, ensuring alignment with strategic energy needs and demand growth projections in Canada. Reporting to the Director, Energy Development -- Canada, your responsibilities will include:
- Development of wind projects:

Lead the development of large-scale wind projects, managing renewable energy partners through all phases, including site selection, permitting, interconnection, and stakeholder engagement.

Ensure projects align with energy strategy, regional needs, and decarbonization goals.

Facilitate collaboration among stakeholders, providing technical oversight and decision-making to minimize risks.

Act as the main liaison with renewable energy partners to ensure timely milestone delivery and contractual compliance.
- Development of hydroelectric power and other renewable energies:

Oversee hydroelectric projects in collaboration with Indigenous partners, managing external consultants and aligning projects with shared objectives.

Participate in feasibility studies, partnership planning, and financial modeling.

Support strategic planning and investment approval processes.

Coordinate with internal departments to ensure project alignment with standards and best practices.
Your contribution:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
- Strong leadership, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English and French.
- Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively across teams.
- Experience with partnerships, contracts, and strategic planning.
- Knowledge of the Canadian business and regulatory environment is an asset.
- Organizational and project management skills.
