Our client, a well established, privately held manufacturing organization in the Brampton area are looking to hire for an Accountant.
Your New Role
As the Accountant, you will report to the Director of Finance on a range of accounting related duties. The Accountant will be heavily involved in the month-end and year-end process including journal entries, accruals and financial reporting. The Accountant will assist in preparing the monthly financial reporting package within a timely manner. The Accountant will provide regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances and opportunities for improvement. The Accountant will ensure compliance with tax obligations by preparing and submitting tax returns.
What You'll Need to Succeed
To succeed in the role of Accountant, you will need to hold a post secondary degree/diploma in accounting or a related field. The Accountant will need to have at least 5 years of accounting experience either within an accounting firm or a large privately held business. The Accountant is required to have a strong level of Excel and have experience using an ERP system.
