Matalco Canada Inc. operates a manufacturing facility in Brampton, Ontario and is seeking qualified a HR Manager for a 13-month contract. The ideal candidate will play a key role in overseeing all HR functions within the organization and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Responsibilities

Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy

Manage recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations processes

Oversee employee benefits programs and ensure accurate record-keeping

Conduct data collection and analysis to support HR metrics and reporting

Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance HR efficiency

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support program management efforts

Utilize HRIS systems such as Ceridian effectively
Skills
-
Proven experience in employee relations, recruitment, and HR best practices

Strong knowledge of HR systems and proficiency in SAP, Ceridian, UltiPro, PeopleSoft, Kronos

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Demonstrated capability in process improvement and change management

Experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting

Familiarity with recruiting processes and compliance requirements
