Your Role at TechBlocksAs an Business Development Representative, you'll play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth within the retail and utility sectors. Working directly with the industry leaders at TechBlocks your focus will be on identifying potential customers, building relationships, and positioning TechBlocks solutions to address their specific needs. Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and research potential leads within the retail and utility industries.
Actively creating lists in Sales Navigator to outbound connections. Proactively reach out to prospects through outbound calls and emails using HubSpot. Qualify leads based on interest, budget, decision-making authority, and fit with TechBlocks' offerings.
Develop a deep understanding of TechBlocks' packaged solutions for the retail and utility sectors. Utilize HubSpot to manage and track customer interactions done by phone, email or LinkedIn effectively. Collaborate with the sales team to qualify leads and hand off qualified opportunities.
Consistently exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs. Stay up to date on industry trends and market conditions in the retail and utility sectors. Generate valuable insights and reports for sales management.
Ideal CandidateMinimum 5 year of B2B sales experience with a proven track record of success. Strong understanding of the retail and/or utility landscape is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust quickly.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to handle rejection and adapt to changing priorities. Proficiency in prospecting techniques and outbound sales methodologies.
Solid understanding of CRM principles and experience with HubSpot a plus. Ability to learn and grasp technical concepts related to cloud security and networking.Intellectual agility and curiosity: Willingness to continually learn about the product and our customers. Bonus PointsExperience working with startups that leverage Google Cloud or Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
