Position Overview:The Territory Manager oversees Project Management teams across one or more locations within a designated region, including project support staff and company's Call Centre. This role is responsible for driving overall project performance, ensuring profitability, maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs), managing client relationships, and fostering a strong safety culture and employee engagement. Reporting to the VP, BC, the Territory Manager collaborates with key departments, including Accounting, Estimation, Safety, HR, IT, and Field Operations, to streamline claim processes and set teams up for success.
Strong communication, strategic leadership, and the ability to champion change while upholding company values and a safety-first mindset are essential to this role. Responsibilities:Sales \& Client RelationsSupport new and existing clients in project management specialties. Collaborate with sales teams to generate leads and build relationships with adjusters, property managers, and commercial clients.
Ensure excellent customer service and communication with insurance stakeholders. Oversee invoicing and ensure timely payments while maintaining profitability. Branch Operations \& Team LeadershipManage branch performance, engagement, and facility operations.
Recruit, train, and develop project management staff in coordination with HR.Uphold company values: integrity, pride, teamwork, respect, and dependability. Monitor financial dashboards, manage budgets, and oversee P\&L accountability. Conduct regular meetings with project teams to address operational issues and team development.
Foster a collaborative, high-performance work environment. Project ManagementOversee claims, inspect work quality, and ensure project milestones are met. Support teams in project scoping, estimating, resource coordination, and warranty issues.
Liaise with departments and subcontractors to ensure timely, on-budget, high-quality project completion. Provide guidance on large loss claims and address customer concerns. Conduct regular project reviews to track progress, billing, and compliance with KPIs.
Health \& SafetyEnforce adherence to health and safety protocols. Ensure PPE compliance and maintain a safe working environment. Qualifications:Education \& Experience5 years of experience in disaster restoration contracting and structural repair.5 years in team leadership, development, and motivation.2 years of project management experience.
Understanding of insurance claims and property management related to restoration. Experience managing a branch or office is an asset. Skills \& CompetenciesStrong understanding of restoration protocols and insurance claim processes.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Financial acumen (sales, cost control, margins, P\&L management). Ability to read blueprints, interpret scopes, and use Xactimate.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word). Strong multitasking, time management, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and remain empathetic in high-stress situations.
Must hold a valid driver's license and be willing to travel. Work ConditionsRegular travel within the assigned region.24/7 industry; after-hours work and overtime required. Exposure to hazardous materials (smoke, mould, contaminated water); PPE provided.
