We are seeking a passionate, energetic, and knowledgeable Talent Attraction Program Specialist to join our Talent Acquisition team in our Vaughan, Ontario office.
The Talent Attraction Program Specialist will play a key role in building and driving programs that strengthen our ability to attract top talent across the organization. This includes designing, launching, and managing early talent programs, developing meaningful community partnerships, and building scalable, inclusive initiatives that support our broader attraction strategy. This is a program-focused role and is ideal for someone who thrives on turning ideas into action, working cross-functionally, and shaping a strategic roadmap that reflects the future of talent at GFL.
Key Responsibilities

Program \& Community Development:Design, implement, and manage a variety of talent attraction programs, including early talent (co-ops, internships, new grads), apprenticeships, workforce development initiatives, and partnerships that build long-term, inclusive talent pipelines. Establish and maintain relationships with schools, community organizations, non-profits, and workforce agencies to expand access to underrepresented talent pools and support broader hiring goals.

Business Collaboration:Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand evolving talent needs and ensure programs align with business and workforce planning strategies.

Employer Branding Support:Collaborate with our Marketing and Communications teams to help position GFL as an employer of choice through storytelling, campaigns, and branded candidate experiences.

Event Strategy:Support the planning and execution of targeted presence at job fairs, community events, and campus initiatives that align with program goals and branding strategies.

Project Management:Own project plans, timelines, deliverables, and outcomes related to program development and execution.

Tracking \& Reporting:Measure program success, track engagement metrics, analyze ROI, and provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Key Requirements

Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, or a related field.

3 years of experience in program management, HR, talent attraction, or a related area.

Experience developing or managing early talent, community engagement, or workforce programs.

Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage internal and external stakeholders.

Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and drive projects forward.

Proven relationship-building skills with external partners such as schools, community organizations, and nonprofits.
