The ideal candidate will be able to effectively coordinate meetings and other office events. They should be comfortable answering inbound phone calls, distributing mail to employees and handling outgoing mail. They should also possess a friendly demeanor so they can effectively interact with office visitors and interview candidates.
The Duties and Responsibilities of a Legal Office Manager include:
- Supervising and coordinating the activities of the legal office staff
- Organizing, managing and updating legal case files and documents
- Assisting in the preparation of legal documents and reports
- Overseeing the billing and collections processes of the legal office
- Ensuring compliance with law office procedures and policies
- Handling human resources tasks such as hiring, training, and evaluating staff
- Assisting in scheduling court appearances, meetings, and depositions
Qualifications
- Experience with administrative and clerical work to manage a team or office
- Strong communication skills
- Strong ability to multitask
- Marketing and Sales Experience is an Asset
Salary Range of $50,000 to $75,000, based upon work experiences and background
