Apply now or email your profile to *****@stellar-recruitment.com to get in touch. Responsibilities:Develop discipline-specific 3D models and generate manufacturing information (MI) for all stages of construction
Produce accurate and efficient production drawings in alignment with VSY's standards and processes
Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to resolve technical design issues and support integration decisions
Support production by providing technical guidance and ensuring design intent is met on the shop floor
Apply lessons learned to improve future design processes and maintain consistency across projects
Monitor project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure work is completed on time and within scope
Qualifications:Associate degree or diploma in design (or related field), or equivalent combination of education and experience3--5 years of experience in detailed design within manufacturing or heavy industry, preferably in shipbuilding
Proficient in Cadmatic Hull; familiarity with Rhino, NavisWorks, and e-Share is a strong asset
Solid understanding of marine structural design and production best practices
Excellent communication and technical writing skills, with the ability to document and present complex information clearly
Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities in a fast-changing environment
Pay Rate: $38-44/hour
