- Work your magic with media relations-build lasting relationships with influencers, journalists, and industry publications across Canada.
- Develop and manage media contra-agreements and an editorial calendar, ensuring we stay on top of trends and maximize every marketing opportunity.
Create Campaigns That Convert \& Connect:
- Design innovative customer journey maps and tailor social media strategies that engage our audience at every touchpoint.
- Lead marketing campaigns that focus on ROI, utilizing data to guide, tweak, and perfect every tactic.
- Use your strategic thinking to implement promotional tactics that speak to both our members and the other audiences we support.
Lead, Inspire \& Manage Your Team:
- Be the mentor and tactical guide for your team, leading them with energy and purpose while ensuring their growth and success.
- Own the marketing process from start to finish-set the pace, ensure deadlines are met, and oversee flawless implementation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external agencies to ensure smooth execution and meet marketing objectives.
Master Digital \& Analytics:
- Own email marketing campaigns, optimize digital ads, and track performance with Google Analytics to ensure every campaign hits the mark.
- Own the update of content on our website and app to keep it fresh, engaging, and optimized for both members and new visitors.
- Stay ahead of digital trends and harness the latest marketing tech to give us an edge.

Skills \& Experience You Bring:
- Expertise in Constant Contact, Microsoft Office Suite (SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Google Ad \& Analytics Suite.
- Proficiency in social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook) and digital marketing tools.
- Experience with design or website content management systems? Nice to have, but not essential.
- Experience in data analytics tools to optimize marketing performance and drive results.
- Managing content on an application, working closely with the online marketing coordinator.
Sample Projects You'll Tackle:
- Yardstick Magazine: Manage the creative process-plan, write, and edit 4X per year to keep members engaged and informed.
- E-Blasts \& Social Content: Review and optimize weekly e-blasts and social media content to ensure we stay top of mind.
- Press Releases \& Advocacy Bulletins: Write and distribute press releases, manage media relationships, and develop contra agreements with media partners.
- Event \& Webinar Promotions: Drive registrations, ensure event sponsors are happy, and create buzz to make each event a success.
- Member Campaigns: Craft compelling copy for member advertising packages, website updates, and special projects like the annual report.
- Digital App Promotion: Lead a multi-touchpoint communication strategy to promote our digital app to our members.
