Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and service electrical and control systems for product development and delivery.
- Develop specifications, designs, and detailed drawings for electrical layouts and systems.
- Select and install process control components, tune PLC systems, and design subassemblies for manufacturability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product deployment, commissioning, and field support.
- Design and install new electrical controls and instrumentation for plant equipment integration.
- Ensure compliance with quality management systems (QMS) and industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and control systems, providing innovative solutions for breakdowns.
- Support ongoing service and maintenance contracts for clients.
- Be a proactive team player-foster a positive, collaborative work environment that promotes accountability and enthusiasm.
Preferred Experience \& Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (P.Eng. designation required).
- At least 8 years of hands-on experience in LV/MV electrical system design , installation, commissioning, and service, ideally in the Hydrogen, natural gas, or chemical industries.
- Experience with industrial control systems, PLC programming (Siemens PLCs), and HMI/SCADA.
- Knowledge of electrical certifications and codes for hazardous areas.
- Expertise in electrical system schematics, layout design, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency with EPLAN , CAD systems , and MS Office.
- Ability to develop clear technical specifications, test procedures, and manuals.
